Who We Are, What We Do and Contact Information
In concert with the MOAA Strategic Plan, the MOAA Public Affairs and Communication Professional Virtual Chapter (MPACOMVC) is an “affinity group” focused on Public Affairs. In a virtual environment, Chapter members share camaraderie with fellow Public Affairs and Communication Professionals seeking to grow the MOAA Brand and “Never Stop Serving. ”
MPACOMVC supports the mission of MOAA, which is the preservation of the earned pay and benefits of the American Veteran. To this mission and the long term viability of the MOAA Council and Chapter System, MPACOMVC assists with a proactive and sound public affairs and communication program for MOAA Affiliates.
With the mission of preserving the earned pay and benefits of the American Veteran, Legislative Affairs remains a key focus of MOAA.

To the aforementioned advocacy mission, our chapter remains non partisan. From the MOAA homepage, "As organizations exempt from federal taxation under Sec. 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code, MOAA and its affiliates must take care to avoid engaging in partisan political activities. Under IRS rules, we are prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office."
